Do you believe in excellent customer service and have experience working in a performance management driven environment?  We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual who can work accurately to tight deadlines, managing competing and conflicting demands, using their own initiative.

Working in the Business intelligence team in Housing services, you will help build relationships with our customers, councillors and MP’s working with service areas to provide timely and quality responses to enquiries and complaints received by the council’s neighbourhood housing service. You will establish the full details of each enquiry, liaising with service areas to respond and ensure responses are provided within council service standards. You will also provide reporting and statistical analysis of enquiries for the team, adding further variety to this role.  

In addition to processing enquiries, you will be assisting neighbourhood housing with service planning, including preparation of the annual service plan, ensuring actions are regularly reviewed, monitored, progressed and reported in line with performance management arrangements.

You will be proficient in using a wide range of IT systems including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as having experience of analysing complex information from a variety of sources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, tact and a proactive approach are a must, as you will be dealing with a wide range of audiences on a daily basis including senior staff, Councillors and MP’s offices.
