Norwich City Council is undertaking a programme of change to continue delivering excellent services to the city and its citizens within reducing resource. This role will put you at the heart of that programme, with an opportunity to deliver real long term change in the way we work and how we serve the city.

The change programme is varied and this role will be too. 
You will be supporting the Programme Manager, Senior Transformation Officers, and colleagues around the council to develop and deliver projects as diverse as changing our processes to put customers at their heart, supporting our staff to work in a more joined up way, running a pilot to show how we can work together with partners to reduce inequality in the city, and updating our IT infrastructure. In all cases, you will be working collaboratively at all levels of the council and beyond to develop and deliver successful change.

To be successful in the role you will be highly organised, have good attention to detail, experience of working in project management and strong interpersonal and team-working skills. Much of the role will be to work with colleagues around the council to define projects and track their progress, so the ability to work effectively with others is critical. 
You will also be experienced in working with relevant Microsoft software including Project and Visio.
