This is a job share opportunity working 3 days per week : Mon-Wed (22 hrs)

We have an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in our corporate Service Improvement Team at Norwich City Council leading a service that delivers continual improvement of systems across the Council and all aspects of data protection and security governance.  As the Data protection and information team leader you will have experience and knowledge of team management as you will be responsible for the day to operations of the team, and responsibility for monitoring the corporate information management and data protection governance of the council.

You will be a dynamic, organised person who is able to manage their own workload while supporting the team to deliver an efficient service in pressured situations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to deal effectively with officers at all levels are essential to this role. You will also have experience of resolving complex issues and the ability to respond positively to substantial and continuous change with high expectations of improved service delivery.
