This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to work in a thriving city managing Norwich’s award winning market.

 

You will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the market as well as supporting its continued development as the iconic heart of Norwich’s city centre.  The historic market is prospering and the council is keen to ensure it continues to succeed in years to come.  In addition you will be responsible for street trading and local authority oversight of other markets in the city.

 

This is an exciting and challenging position and the successful applicant must have great interpersonal and negotiating skills and a proven track record in operational and financial management.  Ideally you will have experience of market management.  You will need to work creatively and collaboratively with traders, the public and colleagues and provide excellent customer care.
