We are looking
for a highly motivated individual to lead our busy housing advice team, delivering an exceptional frontline advice
service to clients with complex housing problems.
The focus of the
role is to co-ordinate the day to day running of an effective options-based
service that seeks to prevent homelessness in Norwich.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of
managing teams and delivering housing advice, guidance and support in a complex
environment, combined with an extensive working knowledge of relevant legislation.
You will need excellent communication skills and the
ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders to manage priorities and
service delivery. You will need to be
calm under pressure and confident in your ability as a leader.
The post-holder will carry out effective casework supervision and be responsible for
monitoring staff and performance to ensure that all standards and performance
targets are met and decisions are made under the relevant legislation.
